PRETORIA, SOUTH AFRICA – Mercedes‑Benz Trucks has introduced its latest Base and Line Haul models, further expanding its comprehensive product offering and strengthening its ability to serve a broad spectrum of transport applications across Southern Africa.

The Mercedes‑Benz Actros 2645LS/33 Base is a dependable, value-focused truck with a ClassicSpace Long Cab and single bed, offering practical comfort and reliable performance. Equipped with a durable OM460 engine it generates power output of 330 kW (449 hp) at 1600 rpm and 2200 Nm torque at 1100 rpm, making it ideal for demanding operations. It features a wear-free hydraulic retarder.
The Mercedes‑Benz Actros 2652LS/33 Base is a high-powered, value-driven solution featuring a ClassicSpace Long cab with a single bed. With strong performance from its OM473 engine, it delivers power output of 380 kW (517 hp) at 1600 rpm and 2600 Nm torque at 1100. Combined with robust safety systems and air suspension, it is built for heavy-duty transport and long-haul applications, supported by practical features and driver-focused convenience. This truck also features a High-Performance Engine Brake.
The Mercedes‑Benz Actros 2645LS/33 Line Haul is a reliable long-haul solution featuring a StreamSpace Long Cab with dual beds for driver comfort. Powered by the OM460 engine, it generates power output of 330 kW (455 hp) at 1600 rpm and 2200 Nm torque at 1600 rpm. This truck features a wear-free hydraulic retarder and delivers efficient performance for long-distance operations, supported by advanced safety systems, air suspension, and a high fuel tank capacity.
Finally, the Mercedes‑Benz Actros 2652LS/33 Line Haul is a powerful long-haul truck featuring a StreamSpace Long Cab with dual beds for enhanced driver comfort. The OM473 engine generates power output of 380 kW (517 hp) at 1600 rpm and 2600 Nm torque at 1100 rpm. It features a High-Performance Engine Brake, delivering strong performance and efficiency, combining advanced safety systems, high fuel capacity, and driver-centric features.
In addition to their tailored specifications, all models share a Gross Combination Mass (GCM) of 65 tons and are equipped with dual fuel tanks of 480 litres and 400 litres respectively, ensuring extended range for long-distance operations.
