Powerfleet recently brought its customers, partners and executive leaders together for a landmark Customer Day hosted at the Radisson Blu Hotel in Umhlanga, KwaZulu-Natal.
Under the theme “Leading with Vision: Innovation Meets Collaboration,” the event highlighted the company’s commitment not only to technological excellence but also to meaningful community impact.
Innovation Meets Collaboration: A Unified Vision for the Future

The day opened with Powerfleet’s technology and product teams unveiling a unified roadmap designed to support safer, smarter and more efficient fleet and operational environments across the continent.
Customers were given a first look at new developments across the Powerfleet platform, demonstrating how connected intelligence is transforming the way African businesses manage safety, compliance and productivity.
The event showcased deep collaboration with Powerfleet’s ecosystem of strategic partners – including CtrlFleet, RNR, MTN, iWantFuel, Canvas Intelligence, and TankSafe ZA – reinforcing how partnership-driven innovation accelerates value for customers.
From AI-driven analytics to enhanced fuel management and real-time risk interventions, attendees experienced firsthand how interoperability and shared data are reshaping operational excellence.
“Collaboration is where business transformation truly happens,” said Steven Sutherland, GM Enterprise, Powerfleet Africa. “Today’s challenges demand integrated solutions, and our mission is to ensure our customers are equipped with the most advanced, unified tools available.”
The day also celebrated customers who help us push our technology forward, partnering with Powerfleet to innovate and refine our solutions so they better meet their unique, evolving needs Leadership in Action: Powerfleet Executives Swap Suits for Headsets
The Customer Day was preceded by a Charity Drive hosted in Powerfleet’s Unity Operations Centre (UOC), which was launched in October last year.
The initiative reinforced our commitment to technology in action and leadership in action, as executives exchanged their suits for headsets and worked alongside analysts and trackers to manage real-time driver events, initiate safety interventions, and experience first-hand the operational realities faced by our frontline teams.
This immersive leadership initiative did more than strengthen internal understanding – it sparked an unexpected wave of generosity.
With every call made and every driver supported, Powerfleet’s teams collectively raised R70,000, surpassing the original R50,000 target.
The funds will support three organisations making a tangible difference in communities along key logistics corridors:
- Trucking Wellness – advancing health and wellness for drivers.
- Singakwenza Early Childhood Education – empowering young children through sustainable learning.
- Fundisisizwe Learner Support & Assistive Devices Project – enabling access to education for learners with special needs.
The initiative was further strengthened through collaboration with N3 Toll Concession (N3TC), who connected Powerfleet to the beneficiaries. As N3TC shared, “We love it when a plan and a partnership come together to make a difference where it matters most.”
A Day That Reflected Powerfleet’s Purpose
From the hotel conference hall to the buzzing energy of the Unity Operations Centre, the Customer Day demonstrated that innovation is not just about products – it’s about people.
It’s about listening, co-creating, acting with purpose and building technology that protects the lives and livelihoods behind Africa’s transport and logistics networks.
Powerfleet extends heartfelt thanks to all customers, partners and team members who contributed to the success of the 2025 Customer Day.
The event reaffirmed a shared vision: when innovation meets collaboration, transformation follows.
Powerfleet now looks ahead to the next Customer Day, continuing its journey of partnership, empowerment, and purpose-driven innovation across the continent.
