Come rain or shine the Good Hope Centre in Mataffin, Mbombela (Nelspruit), now has a stable roof over its head, thanks to Trans African Concessions (TRAC).

TRAC has built a multi-purpose centre for the non-profit organisation, run by Ntombifuthi (Ntombi) Nyoni, which accommodates 140 children from two to five years old.

Ntombi has taken it on herself to get sponsors on board to assist her to run the centre successfully and provide for some of the children’s basic needs and educational materials. Over the past few years TRAC has visited the centre numerous times to donate much-needed resources and help Ntombi to realise her dream of helping these children.

In 2018, TRAC amplified its assistance and decided to build a new structure as the existing one was dilapidated. TRAC built the structure in three months, much to the delight of the learners, teachers and parents who are reeling from happiness with the new colourful structure which not only protects children from the elements, but also has a safety gate for their protection.

TRAC believes that children of all ages need a safe and secure learning environment to ensure a better education and development. Caring for our children and the community is an investment in our future, and TRAC is humbled to take part in such community projects.
